"A Very Silly King Chooses a Wife" is a fairy tale style puppet play written by an early champion of Women's rights, Edna St. Vincent Millay, poet and playwright. She tells the tale of a King who goes about choosing a wife with arrogant selfishness. A mischeivious goblin, Chance, makes sure the King gets the wife he deserves. This is a charming play, witty and amusing, which can be enjoyed on many levels.

The programme also includes Magic Tricks with Mr Bimbamboozle and his child assistants, and the whole show finishes with "Marionette Cabaret" with a demonstration of String Puppet Manipulation.

A delightful show for all the family to enjoy. Traditional Entertainment for Today's Children.
